In addition to our business meeting, our Treasurer, Virginia Pickel is promoting a Winter Coat collection as follows:

For our December meeting we’d like to invite anyone interested to bring a used winter coat for donation to the local community. Looking for women’s, men’s or kid’s coats, preferably gently worn, just same quality as you’d pass along to a family member.

We plan to bring the coats collected to the Savers store in Marlboro and/or Worcester (Virginia has used both locations). Drop-off is planned for weekend immediately following our meeting.

We’re not able to provide charitable donation receipts (for those interested in a tax deduction for their donation). If seeking that, I believe the Salvation Army does provide that to you at their drop-off stores. Closest stores are in Worcester & Fitchburg.
